We are an Irish-based, internationally experienced practice of organisational psychologists. Founded in 2006, we pride ourselves on working with clients who are leaders in their field all of whom share a need to work better through the application of evidence-based psychology. We work on projects core to strategy and at the most senior leadership levels.

John Loughran, Organisational Psychologist BA MSc

John’s areas of interest include leadership and organisational change. In recent years John led programs for Microsoft and JP Morgan (London and New York) in the area of leading disruptive innovation. As well as his professional practice, John is an adjunct lecturer in DCU business school on the Executive MBA Program. John has been working in the field since 1998 and founded People in Mind in 2006

Padraig Neary, Organisational Psychologist BSc MSc Dip.M

Padraig’s particular areas of interest include leadership coaching, culture development and its link to performance. Recently, Padraig has facilitated senior leadership development with clients including PWC (global), GSK and M&S. He has facilitated investigations of corporate culture in global investment banking, the civil service and state agencies. His career has spanned professional practice and in-house OD (for EY Global). Padraig has been working in the field since 2004 and joined People in Mind in 2016.

We have worked with the leadership team in The Abbey since 2009. Through immense reorganisation and reform, we provided an independent view and sounding board on how to maintain the trust and dedication of the Abbey staff and artists.

Since March 2016 we have led a strategic program to develop and empower the Executive Director community to lead transformation. This innovative program runs across three continents and is a central plank in the CAO’s Transformation strategy.

Over a three year engagement, we drove a leadership program in disruptive leadership (Intrapreneurship) for the senior leadership community. Intrapreneurship is the leadership art of creating growth and value from within the MNC. It’s crucial in a distributed development centre.

We designed and delivered an inclusive leadership program for the PDM community involving innovative unconscious bias awareness techniques. We also provide leadership coaching at Partner and Director level.

We facilitate collaboration across R&D, NPD and Ops functions in a multi-site, global environment.

From 2011 through to 2015 we partnered with the leadership team to re-create the organisation not just through rationalisation, but through innovation in services and organisational design.

Our latest relationship, the team at Titan packed full of potential! A fast growth start-up based out of Ireland, with scary success in offering strategic guidance to the world’s biggest companies in the 4PL space. Titan is going places and we’re stoked to be with them in the driving seat!

An immense success in Ireland’s thriving tech start up community, we guided Feed Henry’s CEO and SMT through two phenomenal years of growth, resulting in an acquisition by Linux. The team continues to grow the Irish presence within the company.

A pioneer among Ireland’s creative sector, we worked with the leadership group of this twice Oscar nominated animation studio to find the sweet spot between creativity and commerciality. Double digit growth year on year led to an acquisition by 9 Story Media Group, a Canadian multi-national and our man Cathal Gaffney became Global COO!
